As vast quantities of energy are consumed during water extraction, desalination, pumping, treatment and disposal, improvements to the efficiency of these energy intensive processes are critical to achieve 2050 net zero targets. Furthermore, surging demand for ultrapure water for microelectronics and green hydrogen production, as well as the harvesting of precious metals (e.g., lithium, cobalt and nickel) from discharge brines places energy efficient liquid filtration and separation at the heart of societal transition.

Designed with in-house computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modelling and 3D printed using a revolutionary additive manufacturing process, Evove plans a multifaceted approach to redefine the landscape of filtration and separation technologies, by enabling those processing liquids to source locally made, high-performance ceramic Separonics (3D printed filtration membranes) with significantly reduced carbon footprints and economic cost.

Early adopters are expected to be in the sectors at the heart of societal transition, including lithium, food & beverages, green hydrogen, semiconductors, desalination and water & wastewater. Progressive organisations in these sectors will be able to reduce their process energy consumption by up to 80%, increase their produce yield 5x and recycle resources from their discharged process water.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
