Building on a secure smartphone based vehicle access technology, the project aims to enable a new asynchronous delivery option to strengthen urban infrastructure. Apart from the cost benifits and emission reduction by eliminating redeliveries, this solution has the potential of offering a complete automated round the clock delivery systems, reduce demand on transport infrasturcture during peak times, increased usage of zero emission vans and drastic reductions in the CO2 footprint of logistics delivery.
