In this project, field trials of the system will be conducted on board a vessel operated by the UK's General Lighthouse Authority. Using data gathered from the trial, a programme of system upgrades will be conducted with a view to improving the performance of the system as well as its suitability for operation in a shipboard environment. A second field trial conducted at the end of the project will validate the improvement work.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
