The global success of Welsh crime drama has meant the format is attracting some of the biggest names in television.

With the support of our partners SaySomethingIn - pioneers in the field of innovative language learning - we will create an interactive tool that directly supports the talent pipeline through work-based learning, providing opportunities for cast and crew to up-skill through learning or improving their Welsh. Sgript will promote diversity, offering opportunities for those previously not considered / would not have considered themselves for roles, encouraging producers to look beyond their existing networks.

Sgript is based on three key concepts; supporting line-learning and dialect coaching for non-fluent and fluent Welsh speaking actors; tailored language learning for crew and cast working on Welsh/bilingual productions, and inclusive line-learning for actors with additional needs.

Sgript will be used to both nurture new talent and attract big names, increasing interest in Welsh production and allowing authentically Welsh stories to be shared with the world.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
