The company intends to develop and market bio-based fertilisers which it hopes will displace imported chemical fertilisers. The production of chemical fertilisers is an energy intensive carbon emitting process so substitution with bio-based fertilisers should have a positive environmental impact. This project aims to investigate further the carbon emissions and net zero benefit of using bio-based fertilisers and provide information further on the market opportunity.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
