The zero emission taxis feature a 30kW PEM hydrogen fuel cell system and a Lithium Polymer battery pack hybridised to produce a fuel cell electric vehicle with a 250 mile range and a refuelling time of only a few minutes capable of meeting the demanding duty cycle of one of the icons of London and British transport. Under this programme two prototype vehicles were manufactured and approved for use on public roads.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
