It will see application in the measurement of fields generated by medical and NDT ultrasound probes. The system will offer a low noise floor (improving the sensitivity of the existing technologies), improved temperature measurement and be user friendly due to the use of an embedded controller for data acqusition and processing. Succesful completion of the project will maintain the UK as a global leader in ultrasound metrology.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
