As the wind turbine market is predicted to grow at 17% per year through to 2030 and turbine sizes increase, the issue over maintenance and unplanned downtimes for turbines becomes a critical issue. This project will develop a longer life and higher performance module that will support the OEM need to have a more reliable wind turbine. The resulting technology will be applicable to a range of markets that use slip rings.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
