Tammy had a complex childhood and left school at 15\. After spending her teenage years homeless, she went to university to study psychology. She has since worked operationally and strategically to champion for system change and creative operational solutions, helping the most vulnerable and marginalised have an opportunity to live their best lives. Her career led to the launch of Taye Training in 2016 with co-founder Faye Fox. Together they used their lived experiences professionally and personally to address challenges facing frontline workers, . Taye delivers specialist training and consultancy to criminal justice, social care, and charities; specifically, organisations with frontline professionals who work with complex, vulnerable, and marginalised groups. This phenomenal feedback and impact led to the creation of a new training methodology, Training 4 Influence.

Training 4 Influence and our Train the Trainer Approach

Our frontline services are under extreme pressure to support the most vulnerable in our society; Covid-19 and the economic crisis has compounded this for the next decade. Training delivered through the Training 4 Influence methodology builds resilience, capabilities, and confidence. To scale this, we have created our Train the Trainer approach, the qualification takes 3 months and includes personal mentoring, assignment and assessment. It supports people with lived experience to have the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional, professional training. We have found from evidence and feedback sessions delivered using the Training 4 Influence methodology re-ignites frontline worker's passion for their jobs, supporting them to improve social delivery outcomes. The method can be overlaid onto any training course, creating an immediate impact and can be applied to daily practice without any further monetary or time cost.

Our target is to support 25 amazing women with lived experience to deliver 'Training 4 Influence' Their training will reach over 1m frontline workers, positively impacting the lives of at least 5m service users. Expanding use of Training 4 Influence will reduce staff burnout, improve service delivery, and ensure those who most need it get the support and protection they need, which Tammy knows from first-hand experience can change lives. Our project will help amazing women have the confidence and skills to deliver professional exceptional training to frontline services, this is timely as frontline services have never been under greater pressure; fundamentally we will alter the lives of millions for the better..</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
