DeGould has a strong existing network of OEM clients, including Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), BMW, Bentley and Daimler. This project aims to adapt DeGould's successful approach to finished vehicle inspection to develop **AutoDent**, a mobile dent detection system that can be applied to early stage inspections in the production system. This will enable car manufacturers to: * **Safely return operations within social distancing guidelines** * **Improve quality and productivity to reduce costs** The successful deployment of this technology will support the automotive sector to recover from the pandemic effects. By fast-tracking the development of DeGould's AutoDent, the UK will be better placed to maintain employment levels, a competitive position in global markets and make the UK more resilient to similar disruption in the future. The Extension for Impact will enable DeGould to further accelerate the commercialisation of its AutoDent system. This will bring forward the expected benefits to UK automotive manufacturers, enabling them to increase productivity without compromising employee health and safety.
