The new concept utilises all-electric actuators, eliminating the risk and costs associated with conventional, servo-controlled hydraulic systems used on current equipment.

This will make the process of SPF/DB more affordable for future manufacturers by reducing manufacturing costs of the equipment by up to 50%, whilst reducing hydraulic energy costs by up to 85%. This new concept provides new opportunities for manufacturers' within many sectors including aerospace, automotive, rail and medical through increased process availability leading to a supply chain expansion.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
