The game offers players a way to destress by mindfully sorting and sticking items into a beautifully crafted digital scrapbook, solving gentle puzzles, and discovering a heartfelt, female-led story. With relaxing gameplay that supports mental wellbeing and a distinct approach to storytelling, Pieced Together bridges the gap between innovative mechanics and emotional narrative to offer a unique, heartfelt experience. The game's concept has already achieved international acclaim, winning awards for Best Puzzle Game and Best Storytelling, and featuring in major industry showcases. Kate Killick is a games industry veteran with over 14 years' experience. Her past achievements include awards such as the BAFTA New Media Award, Apple TV App of the Year, and Games Industry 100 Future Talent. In 2022, she received funding for independent projects through the Astra Fellowship Programme, and her work has been showcased at major industry events such as EGX and the London Games Festival. The prototype for Pieced Together was developed with funding from the Wings ELEVATE programme, an accelerator backed by Netflix, and received further business support from the Innovate UK Begin Award.
