This system addresses the urgent need for efficient, scalable, and cost-effective Clean 'Green' liquid-hydrogen solutions, particularly for the decarbonisation of the maritime and aviation sectors.

The project begins with LUX developing a system-level design for a hydrogen liquefaction system. This system-design will incorporate SungreenH2's newly developed electrolyser stacks, featuring built-in redundancy to ensure continuous operation even in the event of component failure. This redundancy is vital for maintaining the reliability and availability of the system, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of industrial applications.

LUX's primary responsibility within the project is the design, manufacture, and testing of a heat exchanger, a critical component that will advance LUX's technology roadmap. SungreenH2 will focus on scaling up their current electrolyser technology, which is essential for the success of the project.

Commercially, this project holds considerable promise. LUX aims to generate new intellectual property, increasing its system-level TRL. SungreenH2's connections within the Singaporean market for maritime and aviation, offer valuable opportunities for implementing these hydrogen technologies, particularly as industries seek to decarbonise their operations for NetZero 2050\.

LUX is also exploring potential partnerships with UK Airports, who are developing hydrogen technologies for ground support vehicles. The bilateral Green Economy Framework between the UK and Singapore further enhances the potential for market expansion, especially in the aviation sector.

Brunel University plays a crucial role as the research and development partner, providing expertise and testing facilities for SungreenH2's electrolyser stack. Their involvement ensures rigorous testing, offering critical insights and design improvements. This collaboration builds on a strong foundation paving the way for future innovations in the green hydrogen sector.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
