a) to identify, source and make ready for Decorative paint evaluation a range of mineral wastes
b) to evaluate the identified and prepared mineral wastes in Decorative paint
c) to identify the preferred mineral wastes for effective use in Decorative paint
d) to quantify the environmental benefits of the use of mineral wastes to replace virgin minerals in Decorative paints
e) to deliver a preliminary economic evaluation of the use of mineral wastes to replace virgin materials in Decorative paints
The project made good progress towards the technical objectives. The initial economic evaluation on the identifed candidate mineral wastes was not favourable for immediate implementation. Further discussions are planned to look for a more favourable economic position.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
