Rare earth elements are critical for various technological applications, including renewable energy, electronics, and electric vehicles. However, their extraction and production often have negative environmental impacts.

Our innovative approach focuses on utilizing mine tailings, which are waste materials from mining operations, as a valuable resource for rare earth element recovery. By implementing advanced hydrometallurgical techniques, we aim to extract these valuable elements in an environmentally sustainable and economically viable manner.

The project's key objectives include:

1. Assessing the technical feasibility of extracting rare earth elements from mine tailings through hydrometallurgical processes.
2. Evaluating the economic viability of the recovered rare earth elements, considering market demand, pricing, and potential revenue streams.
3. Conducting an environmental impact assessment to ensure sustainable practices and minimize ecological footprint.
4. Investigating the potential for establishing a domestic rare earth element recovery industry in the UK, reducing reliance on imported materials and promoting local economic growth.

Through this Feasibility Study, we aim to determine the viability of our innovative approach and its potential to contribute to the UK's strategic goals of environmental sustainability, resource efficiency, and economic resilience.
