Air quality in many UK cities has declined in recent years (mainly down to vehicular emissions of NO2 and low-level ozone). Yet there are only 300 monitoring stations across the UK (half of these provide hourly data collection via modem). We propose real-time data transfer for accurate information and analysis. This project is concerned with the trial and commercialisation of a low-price, real-time, monitoring solution. The UK has a real opportunity to pioneer genuinely useful IoT applications and build a Citizen Science approach to exploitation and development. This project will define the opportunities, develop the product and service design models, and determine and technical and market approach.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
