Our current setup includes a workshop, studio, and art gallery space. We are now beginning an exciting project to enhance our services and broaden our capabilities.

We are in the process of transforming our back storeroom into a dust-free studio workshop. This specialised area will allow us to develop our new innovative products. Through extensive research involving gallery owners, artists, and workshop participants, Print2Wall has identified a demand for larger canvas prints and contemporary framing options. We implemented research via face-to-face with our clients, via telephone and email surveys. Our research shows that speed, quality control and locality are important factors. To address these needs and enhance our business, we aim to expand our services.

Expanding Printing Capabilities: Clients have expressed interest in larger prints on diverse materials such as canvas and aluminium. While our current giclee printer is suitable for paper prints, we recognized the need for a more advanced printer to handle other materials. We have secured a start-up loan to purchase a large-scale printer and require funding to enable us to meet these demands efficiently and conduct necessary research and testing.

Modern Framing Techniques: Visits to commercial galleries, publishers, and museums have revealed innovative framing techniques not readily available to artists. These methods involve materials like resin, aluminium, DiBond and acrylic face-mounting, offering a contemporary way to showcase artwork. Funding will support the research and development of these techniques as well as funding the materials for experimentation.

During the quieter business period from November to March, our focus will be on researching and developing new, larger printing methods and creating innovative framing products. This period presents a unique opportunity for us for innovation.

Our team, led by Co-Directors Kevin Cowell and Hannah Leadbetter, will oversee the research and development process. Kevin, with expertise in fine arts and business management, will contribute to the innovation of our framing and printing solutions. Hannah, with experience in marketing, creative entrepreneurship, and business ownership, will play an active role in framing, art sales, and marketing.

Our ultimate objective is to showcase our innovative framing and printing services to a broader audience, including museums, art galleries, and interior designers for retail and hospitality spaces. We have a strategy in place to engage with investors to support our business growth, developed with guidance from Creative UK.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
