The final stage of its revolutionary skin rejuvenation technology is the development of the PPlus bespoke Ampoule system.

Currenty the Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Anti -aging skin rejuvenation treatment is delivered by injections on the face, neck or hands. Whilst it works well, it is painful with up to 100 small injections into the client's facial skin.

The Pplus Topical Platelet-Rich Plasma Kit delivers an injection free anti-aging skin rejuvenation technology. PRP is widely used in medical treatments such as wound care, dentistry, orthopaedics and facial rejuvenation. The founder of Pplus is one of the first UK pioneers and offered the PRP technology as early as 2011. Her clients reported loving the results of the technology as it is safe with no adverse reactions, but it was too painful and expensive. Fewer and fewer returned for repeat treatment due to the pain. It was clear that a pain-free version would delight clients and create a massive market opportunity for a UK business.

The technology is innovative as users will deliver the potent PRP directly on to their skin at home. Their clinic will take a small blood sample and prepare the mini-ampoules of PRP. The user will take home a kit containing a Storage Device, their own PRP Ampoules and a Collagen Serum activator.

Many celebrities have opted for PRP treatment to enhance their facial features, popularly known as the 'Platelet-Rich Plasma Facelift'. PRP makes use of the body's own ability to heal itself and has been used successfully to improve the skin's texture, elasticity and hydration. PRP can also speed up the healing of injuries such as burns, scars, cuts or ulcers.

The method is inherently safe as it is prepared from the users own blood. So there is no risk of adverse allergic reactions or transmission of blood-borne viruses.

Pplus expects to grow rapidly, deliver considerable export earnings, create employment, investor dividends and repay the UK taxpayer many times over for the funding provided to allow the completion of the system.

Pplus was selected as one of the top 12 innovative start-ups in regenerative medicine in 2018.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
