PACS is a
novel and innovative concept which will enable low cost, safe, compact, accurate and reliable
control-automation for industrial valves and actuators. The concept radically simplifies a
plethora of connectors, cables, relays, sensors and electronics in to a single electronic circuit
board which can be programmed and interrogated by computer, enhancing both functionality
and plant safety. PACS will be developed, manufactured and sold by Imtex Controls Ltd. – a
UK manufacturer and system integrator of valve and actuator automation systems. Market
sectors include oil & gas, petrochemical and process industries where there is an established
need for cost-effective, reliable and automatic control of valves and actuators.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
