These 3D photos are completely photo realistic, fully interactive and load approximately 10x quicker than traditional 3D renders. This is made possible through photographic capture, image interpolation and machine learning. Our 3D photos are an effective tool for ecommerce businesses, driving engagement and helping create a more efficient shopping journey. Our customers have experienced increased conversion rates by up to 220% and engagement by up to 50%. Launched in March this year. With recent advancements in the field of NeRF, or Neural Radiance Field technology, All Axis has identified a potential overlap that could greatly improve their workflow and offering as well as facilitate expansion from their current market position. NeRFs are generative ai models used to create highly realistic 3D scenes, predicting the radiance (colour and opacity) of the scene from millions of points in space. This is achieved by training a neural network with 2D images and corresponding camera poses. NeRFs learn to generate novel views of the scene from any angle, producing photo-realistic images with completely accurate lighting and reflections. Integrating NeRFs into All Axis' current workflow would enable market expansion across a number of new verticals The technology would also enable greater efficiency and make it possible to design a process enabling anyone anywhere to capture a number of images using a camera or phone, upload them to our platform and quickly generate 3D photos. All Axis is endeavouring to explore the feasibility of integrating NeRFs into their workflow and assessing viability via the Feasibility studies for Artificial Intelligence solutions Innovate grant.
