This dynamism and connectivity have been key to the CDI's success. A strategic partnership spanning further and higher education and industry, the CDI has brought together groups of experts in both business innovation and digital technology to create a groundbreaking partnership in the region based on world leading research. The CDI offers multiple accessible entry points for those in the community and business to develop their skills, innovate and grow. Its aim has been inclusive growth in digital sectors and technologies, and we have overachieved on our key outputs. As can be seen from these outputs, our focus is on growth through innovation, and the CDI Phase 2 continues and deepens this focus on the government's growth agenda.

The CDI Phase 2 remains true to both our original strategic remit and the scope and activities, which are driven towards increasing the capacity of the GM Innovation Ecosystem. We specifically aim to further consolidate our CDI innovation ecosystem, stimulating further industry investment in R&D, and developing the robust and diverse talent and skills pipeline needed to take GM into leadership of the fourth industrial revolution. We will directly address the two frontier sectors of Advanced Manufacturing, and Digital and Creative, while contributing to all frontier sectors through our purposeful cross-sector work. We will deliver both specific outputs based on numbers of beneficiaries engaged, and outcomes, based on further deepening engagement in the CDI phase 1, and societal value in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
