Ultimately, North AI aims to **democratise** live audience testing for the independent film sector, and furthermore make the data up to 40% more reliable through increased audience participation numbers, accessing global demographics and focusing on Neuroscience supported analysis as opposed to traditional surveys.

North AI will add new innovation to the audience testing of audio-visual content to complement the existing AI based digital intelligence platform, currently being developed with current Innovate UK funding. The combined approach of qualitative and quantitative data will provide improved insights to forecast the potential success and audience reception of independent film. The same data will also be used to better personalise marketing and audience engagement strategies, increasing the films reach and the optimisation of distribution channels. This will represent the first time that advanced neuroscience techniques will be combined with with AI/ML based predictive insights to improve independent film investment -- development proposed at a time where the sustainability of the entire independent film industry is under significant and critical threat with a 30% year-on-year reduction in new private investment since 2019\.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
