Zeal's first product will be a fully-circular customer-centric, 4-wheeled rollator, made with Great British design and engineering. It will be a piece of kit the user is proud to be seen with, representing strength, agility, and prosperity - debunking all the tired and degrading branding that can be associated with a lot of these products currently on the market.

Zeal exists to disrupt the assistive product market, by removing stigma and enhancing lifestyles through better design, engineering, and a personal approach to customer experience.

**The assisted living sector demonstrates the following problems:****Poor Design:**

62% of customers avoid purchasing rollators due to their poor product design, resulting in undesirable products. (NorwegianUniversityofScienceandTechnology, 2017).

**Unsustainable industry:**

Six in ten disabled people (57%) feel excluded from being able to reduce their environmental impact (ResearchInstituteforDisabledConsumers, 2021)

**Ageism:**

92% of customers experience ageism; trust has eroded between retailers and customers. (SevantaSurvey, 2022).

**Retail Discrimination:**

Customers have poor retail and online customer experiences - 73% of potential disabled customers experience barriers on more than a quarter of websites (WearePurple, 2022).

**Zeal offers the below innovative solutions:**

* Beautiful Design: A stylish rollator, with adaptable, custom features to fit in with the modern customer's lifestyle, both aesthetically & functionally.
* Sustainable: Utilising Zeal patent-pending energy and waste-efficient Hemp/bioplastic braided weave, Zeal offers its users a world-first carbon-neutral rollator, supporting the Government's Net-Zero by 2050 policy.
* Sustainable: Zeal is the world's first rollator 100% designed for disassembly, with no permanent fixings. Giving the users the right to repair, forever.
* Removing Stigma: Empowering our 'zeal-ers' to create a strong community of users through social events, tackling loneliness, impacting 1.4 million of the UK's ageing society (NHSmobilityreport, Nov 2019).
* Inclusive Retail: Provide unrivalled personal, unique customer care and service both online and in-store.

This project will support Zeal in the final stages of product development, design for manufacture, prototype manufacture, certification, and building a community of 'Zealers''. This will allow Zeal to take the final step into commercialisation and support the lives of thousands of people with limited mobility.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
