Each of the scenarios will be set in realistic environments with a range of vehicles representing the latest in automotive technology; as vehicle technology develops, so will the programme, through regular updates. The programme will bring flexibility and an added layer of realism to training, that has previously been difficult achieve, and revolutionise training for road vehicle incidents after many decades of little or no development in training techniques and technology.

Each scenario will take the user through the process of making an electric vehicle safe following an incident, tactical decision making, and the deployment of resources to affect a rescue in conditions that are currently extremely difficult and costly to replicate. The scenarios will be carefully designed to reinforce standard operating procedures and operational tactics, filling the experience gap that exists by building cognitive shortcuts based on experience, and reducing the need for time consuming identification and analysis of information in rapidly changing operational environments.

The following Modules would cover what is needed for emergency services and other agencies that deal with electric vehicles:

**Introduction to EVs and VR Training**

* Overview of EV technology and components.
* Introduction to VR training benefits and navigation.
* Objectives and expected outcomes of the program.

**Identifying and Understanding EV Components**

* Detailed examination of high-voltage batteries, motors, and charging systems.
* Interactive 3D models for hands-on identification.
* Safety precautions for handling EV components.

**Safety Protocols and PPE**

* Risks associated with high-voltage systems and prevention of electric shock.
* Proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
* VR simulations for safely disconnecting and deactivating EVs.

**Incident Response and Fire Management**

* Scene evaluation, securing procedures, and identifying EVs in incidents.
* Specialized fire suppression techniques for EV fires.
* Safe occupant extraction and handling battery leaks.
* Interactive VR incident simulations.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
