primarily driven by continuous technology developments, product innovations and expanding
application areas.
At SensorHut we are developing a new gas sensing approach based on a nano-structured
optical element that adsorbs chemical substances so that they can be optically analysed to
determine their chemical composition. The advantages are higher sensitivity and
miniaturization and lower cost than conventional instruments based on absorption
spectroscopy. This technology can be applied to a large number of industries and gases, and
therefore we need to narrow down initial focus to some high value markets where the key
advantages of this sensing principle are most needed.
This is a platform technology and with TSB Proof of Market Funding we are identifying high
value markets, where the key advantages of our sensing principle are most needed. These
