Indian project partners are TM Patel textile processing and Khanak Solar System from Surat, Gujarat.

TM Patel textile represents beachhead market for this study currently using 40-50 tonnes of coal per day and representative of 300 similar local companies. Khanak Solar are Indian PV Solar, engineering procurement and Renewable Energy experts.

**Product vision**

16-month project will deliver a detailed engineering and commercial feasibility study identifying the beachhead and serviceable addressable markets to decarbonise fossil fuelled heating for textile industry whilst increasing process productivity by reducing heating cycle times significantly reducing electrical energy will also be achieved through reducing production batch cycle times.

Steamology technology is at advanced Technology Readiness Level 6 operating at full size and full scale before pilot industrial site deployment

**Key objectives**

* Zero emission steam generator performance and certification development engineering in preparation for commercial Indian deployment.
* Novel, efficient production textile processes innovation including reduction in heating periods, waste heat condensation recovery, system optimisation and reduced chemical treatment
* Renewable Energy implementation cost, capacity and readiness report for decarbonisation of industrial sites

**Main areas of focus**

Full system integration, from solar input to steam output for optimised textile processing through Jet dyeing, rotary drum and weight reduction process for hard to electrify businesses in India seeking Net Zero, solutions

**Disruptive innovation**

Steamology patent granted steam generators deliver 100% clean & energy-dense heat from hydrogen and oxygen fuels. Closed-loop combustion system creates emission-free high energy steam with zero Carbon, NOx, Sulphur or particulate emissions in a repeatable cycle. 'Cradle-to-Cradle' approach avoids rare and toxic materials. Water is returned for electrolysis reducing site water abstraction for hydrogen production.

Robust, reliable resilient and ready to deploy in the emerging green hydrogen Indian market.
