The recent 'Cool-R' feasibility study, completed in December 2012 and co-funded by the TSB, suggested that the novel application of cryogen injection and isothermal compression, along with the recuperation of exhaust heat, offers the potential for a game-changing level of indicated thermal efficiency of over 60% for heavy duty diesel engine on-highway applications.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
