Tarc's mission in the world is to spread love and kindness.

Tarc's ability to appeal to children and adults enables the messages he conveys to resonate across age groups, which has led to discussions about how to educate people more effectively about the topic of death.

Scot Harris, the creator of Tarc wanted to create a character that should be cold and heartless, yet is in fact a cute robot whose powerful messages of love have the ability to evoke heartfelt emotions.

Dayle Adams works in end of life services helping with planning ahead of time for later-life, dying, death and post-death. She collaborated with Scot after seeing his canvas art and wanting to put Tarc onto grief cards.

Stephen Garrett, created the Seven Languages of Sorrow, which demonstrates the seven different ways grief can be expressed and how they show themselves in different people. He has given his support to the creation of children's books by Warwick Street Studios using his work.

Lorna Vyse, a Childhood Bereavement Specialist and Children's Author, has agreed to be the author of Tarc's books relating to end of life that will be specifically written for children 4 to 8 years old.

This book will, through the love and kindness of Tarc, with character visuals that compliment the narrative, address dying, death, loss and grief through the seven languages of sorrow. This will enable families to learn as a collective, in language specific to the age range.

This Book 1 will set the tone for the series by introducing Tarc, other characters and the Seven Languages of Sorrow We know there is no other book that addresses these matters in the way in which we intend.

This book is unique, innovative and educational, on a topic that is extremely important and should not be hidden from children.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
