If you are neurodivergent and have a learning difference like Dyslexia, Autism or ADHD then you will have probably found that in many ways you are trying to fit society's mould.

Whether at school, in the workplace or even at home you may have struggled to get simple tasks done or even stay motivated.

Only 16% of Autistic adults in the UK are in full-time employment (despite 77% of those who are unemployed saying they want to work) this shocking statistic demonstrates how difficult it for a neurodivergent working adult to adapt to the workplace; and the impact of neurodivergent conditions on young people's independence and confidence being one of the biggest yet unspoken about problems in today's society.

Neurodapt addresses the issue of underdiagnosed neurodivergent individuals. Despite an estimated 20% of the population being neurodivergent, research and resources are lacking, resulting in only a small percentage receiving diagnoses. Insufficient funding and limited awareness in schools hinder the identification of neurodivergent traits in children, leading to adults who have struggled silently throughout their lives.

This is where NEURODAPT steps in -- we are a company that believes the products and systems we use should be adapted to us, not the other way around. As a team of Neurodivergent designers who have experience designing for these types of users, we recognise that we need to fix the problem at the root of the issue. Implementing better organisation into children's routine at a younger age.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
