This requires the need to develop in-house systems and processes that are appropriate to every stage of the design and construction process but also the need to robustly test the performance of completed and occupied buildings. Kingston University has a specialist research and consultancy unit, ArchiLab, which has the expertise and equipment to evaluate and compare environmental aspects of building design against ultimate building performance in use. As a collaboration between practice and academia it is expected that the findings of this project will be published widely in order to disseminate findings to a far reaching audience.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
