751854WarwickFBR Burner SystemClosedVouchersInnovate UKRecycling Technologies has developed a patented system, the WarwickFBR, which can recycle Mixed Plastics Waste using pyrolysis into a valuable hydrocarbon product, the PlaxOil. A minor product from the system is a gaseous product which cannot be condensed. These non-condensible gases are high in energy and can potentially be reused in the process to supply energy for the pyrolysis. Hence, the project is aimed at developing a novel burner system which can combust the non-condensible gases generated by the process.
