One component of this test kit requires specialised storage conditions to preserve the activity of the biosensor reagent. This proposal aims to devise a set of conditions to manufacture this reagent using a freeze-drying process such that it may be transported and stored at ambient temperatures and so that the test kits has an improved and longer shelf-life.
