RoboFold develops patented technologies for sheet metal forming, with direct application in the creative industry, including architecture and industrial design.
The feasiblity study will build a reconfigurable end-effector, controlled directly by RoboFold's in-house robotic simulation software. This will enable panel variation to be automatically accomodated during the production run.
The feasibility study will determine if the project outcomes can successfully increase the levels of automation in a Mass Customisation technology. Through further research, development and investment it could be marketed as a bureau service, and reinforce the UK's impact on the global creative industry.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
