This project addresses the declining participation in drama courses by providing an innovative way to deliver high-quality drama workshops, regardless of location.

The VR platform will allow students and experts to interact in immersive digital environments, facilitating expression through voice, body, and facial movements. This technology offers a cost-effective and scalable solution to the limitations of traditional in-person workshops.

Our goal is to improve access to specialised drama teaching, particularly in disadvantaged communities where resources are limited. The platform will support various drama techniques, such as kabuki, noh, and Bollywood dancing, delivered by expert practitioners.

This initiative also aims to generate new revenue streams for educators and performers by enabling them to offer their workshops remotely. The project will utilise existing online sales channels and form strategic partnerships to promote the platform.

Public funding from Innovate UK is essential to cover the development costs and mitigate commercial risks. This support will help us bring the platform to market, validate our business model, and attract further investment.

The broader impacts of this project include providing equal access to quality drama education, supporting the creative economy, and reducing the need for physical travel, thus lowering carbon emissions. We will address potential challenges, such as limited access to VR technology in low-income areas, by partnering with schools and community centres.

Our aim is to make high-quality drama education accessible to all students, fostering creativity and confidence.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
