Its novel lead product, Bodytrak, will be the first non-invasive device capable of accurately and continuously monitoring patients’ full suite of vital signs, enabling early detection of patient deterioration and rapid medical intervention. The healthcare demands of Europe’s ageing population are placing unsustainable financial pressures on both public and private healthcare providers. To meet this challenge, national providers are seeking innovative solutions that can safely reduce the length of patients’ stay in hospitals and prevent emergency re-admission. Monitoring devices capable of tracking patient health across in- and out-patient environments are insufficiently accurate and don’t address patient needs. Bodytrak will be an exquisitely designed, low cost, scalable product platform developed in conjunction with clinicians and patients. This feasibility study is essential to de-risk the innovation before Inova can raise funding to develop the technology further towards exploitation.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
