Founded by two brothers, a doctor and an electronic engineer, Luma is solving an unaddressed, substantial public health need affecting seven million people annually: reliable diagnosis of cardiac arrest.

Additionally, Luma will provide free CPR teaching to every purchaser and free first-aid training for multiple purchases at a comparable price to the training alone.

This package of device and training, if widely disseminated publicly, could save 16,000 lives annually in the UK and 3m lives globally - increasing cardiac arrest survival out-of-hospital from 8% to 47%.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
