While significant progress is recorded in monitoring and improving air quality outdoors, there is a gap in the market in collecting accurate data and generating customised and actionable solutions to improve air quality.

Sora Design Engineering explores the design of a novel monitoring and data visualisation product to support creative industries to prolong healthy living through reduced pollution exposure. Drawing on our experience in working in different markets and products, networks with renowned specialists from MIT, Imperial College London, and ILO, we devised 'AirWorks'. AirWorks is an air quality management system that empowers creatives to protect their health from air pollution risks in makerspaces or similar environments.

AirWorks is a one-stop-shop in monitoring and improving air quality in makerspaces. It offers value for money as a low-cost solution to identify and fight air pollutants through bespoke solutions for makerspaces. It generates real-time, accurate data continuously, empowered with machine learning to maintain clean air proactively. Currently customised for makerspaces, AirWorks has a robust potential to replicate success stories across other industries, sectors, and environments.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
