In this project a feasibility study will be carried out in order to define the dose required for efficatious treatment of the condition and also a delivery method will be investgated. By the end of the feasibility study, a delivery method, will have been designed and proof of concept systems will have been fabricated and discussed with focus user groups including Opthamologists, AMD/blindness charities and possible end users. It is planned that the work carried out in this project will be carried on to subsequant clinical trials in order to move the technology to market and gain the required approvals for providing this treatment on the NHS or with healthcare providers Worldwide.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
