polymers creating a new 100% recycled sustainable material (RGH®) for the drywall
industry. C2M have identified that a number of additional applications of the material that
could be developed within the construction/sustainable sector to increase the use of
sustainable materials. Although the RGH® and the technology behind the material
manufacture perform to an acceptable level, there are barriers to market entry and ambiguity
with regard to the market and business strategies to take the company forward. Initial
investigations of the market by C2M (i.e. number of sustainable products/carbon footprint,
market demographics, and cost analysis of competitive green products) show the potential to
grow the business with additional products. Conversely, the critical issue is that it is not
apparent what products end users would require in the RGH® in sustainable build and
construction as a whole. C2M needs to appraise if there are any exact niches in the sustainable
construction sector that a material such as RGH® can be valuable to the industry.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
