This will manifest itself as a 'sim in a suitcase' solution for operational UK aircraft and an end-to-end data collection pipeline which can track pilot performance from street to front line seat.

Through Project iDAS, VRAI have developed an innovative way of capturing, storing and analysing pilot performance data. The project has recently been funded for its third and final phase. However, it is envisioned that additional funding as well as a commercial partner will be required to bring this project to market as a product. The expected output of this project is a simulator in a suitcase based around iDAS which will combine COTS technology with advanced data capture and an accurateoperational UK aircraft flight model in order to facilitate personalised, individualised learning in student pilots.

Additionally, it will deliver an end-to-end pilot training data capture ability, enabling student pilots and their instructors on the Hawk programme to track performance objectively across simulated and live flying. This revolutionary capability would enable training programmes to be catered to the students ability and allow for objective assessment of a live synthetic balance by combining training simulation data and biometric data to give detailed performance analysis on individual pilots.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
