Hashiona is a UK-based health-tech, digital therapeutics SME with a core project team of:- Ewa Galant (Project-, Sustainability-, Inclusion/Diversity-Lead = PSID-L)- Konrad Koniarski (Technical Lead = T-L) - Miriam Mikicki, MD (Medical Lead = M-L).Hashiona is solving a significant unmet need with its innovative medical platform designed to serve people with Hashimoto's disease. The app is helping diagnosed patients to manage their thyroid condition with a science-based step-by-step programme to remission designed by clinicians and dedicated features for self-tracking, medical experts' assistance and psychological support enhanced by modern technology and patient-centric approach. The digital solution will involve all relevant groups (patients/clinicians/researchers) to effectively respond to the complexity of autoimmune disease treatment.

A patient-centric approach is a way healthcare systems can establish a partnership among practitioners, patients, and their families to align decisions with patients' wants, needs, and preferences. This also includes the delivery of specific education and support patients need to make these decisions and participate in their own care. At Hashiona we promote a well-designed patient experience, which embraces the disease history of each individual patient, addresses their therapy goals, supports their hopes, and helps encourage them to follow the required protocols while engaging them in the journey and increasing adherence with clinical trials and tasks. Hashiona strives to foster a robust, supportive community around the digital solution.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
