RoboFold develops patented technologies for sheet metal forming, with direct application in the creative industry, including architecture and industrial design.
 The feasibility study addresses the development of a novel rapid prototyping software platform for sheet metal forming, applicable to building facades and interior cladding. RoboFold’s technology aims to close the geometry tolerance gap between the 3D CAD model and production of the final artefact.
 This feasibility study will determine if the project outcomes can be considered as a ‘rapid manufacturing’ technology. Through further research, development and investment it could be marketed as a bureau service, and reinforce UK’s impact on the global creative industry.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
