It leads to discolouration of the shampoo. Investigating the chemistry has lead us to believe that by controlling the parameters for manufacture more closely it is possible to alter the composition to improve long-term stability. This involves manipulation of the atomic structure during production and requires the assistance of specialist knowledge and equipment from a university.
