This unique biotech tool will be based upon biocompatible smart materials of submicron size able to bind proteins by simple mixing and subsequently release them inside cells. The proprietary techniques for introducing these proteins will be a prime focus of the project, which will be patented and globally commercialised under the name TRANSproteinTM GST. The project outputs will have wide application across the pharma and biotech industry and in the academic R&amp;amp;D sector, promoting advances in the understanding of human disease processes and for the development of new therapeutic drugs.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
