This innovative device, meticulously crafted to suit the female anatomy, aims to address challenges related to screening participation, specifically in minimising discomfort and embarrassment during the examination process.

In contrast to the conventional method of using a speculum, our ground-breaking device features a unique design focused on optimising women's comfort. This design has the potential to eliminate barriers tied to pain, anxiety, and embarrassment commonly associated with cervical screening. Our overarching objective is to motivate screening for the substantial number of UK women, one in four, who currently express hesitation toward undergoing this critical examination that holds the potential to save lives.

The project unfolds in two comprehensive phases: first, a meticulous evaluation of technical viability for both clinical and home applications, with a focus on establishing a robust proof of concept. Subsequently, a high-level health economics analysis will scrutinise commercial feasibility, providing substantial support for our value proposition to the NHS, our primary market. The innovation strategically aims to broaden access and encourage proactive health management.

As our device advances through development, it remains committed to addressing crucial aspects of screening participation, aligning seamlessly with broader health initiatives. With an unwavering commitment to enhancing the screening experience and elevating participation rates, our efforts significantly contribute to the broader objective of alleviating the burden of cervical cancer on women's health.

The battle against cervical cancer necessitates innovative solutions that prioritise accessibility, comfort, and effectiveness in screening methods. LBN Innovations is dedicated to advancing technology to overcome barriers, ultimately aspiring towards a future where cervical cancer is more effectively prevented and managed. Our relentless pursuit of progress in medical technology underscores our commitment to improving women's health outcomes and fostering a landscape where cervical cancer is no longer a formidable threat and healthcare is easily accessible to all.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
