A donor skin cell spray available immediately at point of care offers a disruptive approach to benefit 10,000 cases in the UK a year, and can reduce the £40m annual cost to the NHS in treating scald injuries. This project will focus on developing a solution which aims to be 1) easy to use, 2) capable of reproducible scale-up and 3) cost competitive. In the future this approach could be applicable to chronic wounds, whose incidence in an ageing poulation represents a huge financial challenge for healthcare providers.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
