This unit will be installed on commercial vessels and shoreside facilities and automatically launch itself upon a person falling overboard into the water. The consortium will consist of ASV as the lead with University of Portsmouth, Hyperdrive and Thermoteknix. The system can dramatically reduce the number of lives that are lost at sea due to Man Over Board (MOB) accidents.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
