In this six-month project, Ethisight will develop AI that combines real-time patient and environmental data to identify optimal operating conditions, thereby improving patient outcomes and reducing waiting lists/environmental impacts. This will address current inefficiencies resulting from the use of anecdotal data and generic operating room environments, which contribute to public sector emissions and unplanned readmissions, costing &amp;pound;2.7 billion per year (Nuffield Trust, 2023).

Ethisight's Correllex AI will unify real-time clinical, environmental, and operational insights, providing predictive analytics for hyper-personalisation, and utilising conversational AI for proactive NHS decision support. This innovation is clinically proven to increase in-theatre efficiency by 18-20% and reduce post-operative readmissions by 14% (based on an NHS partnership in 2025 ).

This partnership was initially conducted within St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as part of the GESH NHS Trust, utilising live, in-theatre environments for various surgical disciplines. This demonstrates not only significant cost reduction and efficiency savings for public health systems, but also significant advances in AI-enhanced patient safety and improvements in post-intervention care quality.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
