Across the UK, 42 percent of teachers report feeling unprepared to support ADHD needs. More than half of students with ADHD experience fixed-term exclusions, and 30 percent face long-term difficulties with employment. ADHD affects 5 percent of children in the UK and 8 percent globally, yet many wait more than a year for assessment and support. These waits are even longer in lower socio-economic areas. The average cost of interventions is £5.49K per student, amounting to £670M for government services annually. When ADHD goes unsupported, the wider economic impact rises to billions in the UK and hundreds of billions worldwide. It affects educational attainment, contributes to burnout for up to 74 percent of teachers, and in later life reduces personal net worth by around 75 percent at retirement.

Schologists is developing the first AI-driven app (patent pending) designed to cut these delays at the point where they are felt most: schools. By offering immediate, evidence-based assessments and tailored support, teachers save roughly seven hours per student. For a typical school, this equates to around 302 hours regained each year, given that about 27 percent of students are referred for investigation. With Pebble in place, teachers can shift that time back into teaching and pastoral care, reducing exclusion risk for an estimated 21 vulnerable students per school. Improvements in sustained attention of around 130 percent have been observed in early testing.

Pebble is built with long-term NHS readiness in mind. School wait times and NHS referral bottlenecks stem from the same problem: slow, resource-intensive assessment and intervention pathways. The platform aims to offer a scalable, clinically aligned foundation that can support both educational and clinical settings as it develops further.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
