Aligned with global efforts to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions as set forth in the Paris Agreement, we will develop cutting-edge technologies that will enable cleaner and more sustainable vessels.

Ships and other vessels, with their unique characteristics and operational requirements pose distinct challenges that require tailored solutions. Our project focuses on overcoming these challenges and introduces novel concepts to propel the maritime sector towards a more sustainable future.

The project consists of four major aspects that will contribute to the overall goal of sustainable marine transport. 1) An advanced exploration and development of novel drag reduction techniques when foiling. 2) The development of an electric propulsion system specifically designed to meet the conditions of foiling boats. 3) Addressing the challenge of limited range, focusing on a modular expandable and swappable multi-energy backend. 4) Development of an offshore recharging technology to extend the range of electric ships and overcome the constraints of onshore marina space for concurrent charging.

Through these technologies, our project aims to drive the transition to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly maritime industry. We are excited to embark on this transformative journey, promoting cleaner maritime transportation, reducing carbon emissions, and contributing to the preservation of our oceans and the well-being of our planet.</ns2:abstractText></ns2:project>
